We are nearly halfway through our Sweet Summer Habits program this summer. As we celebrate our journey, this week we will focus on fueling our bodies with food that is tasty and nutritious. Who loves snack time? Snacks can be just as nutritious as our meals if we take time to plan. This week, let's try to do the following from Healthier Texas:

- Eat a balanced meal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner

- Try a new fruit or vegetable each day

- Swap out sugary drinks for water

- Include a source of protein in each meal
